Postal Prints - Hilo Maile

Postal Prints - Hilo Maile is an original hand-drawn illustration by Native Hawaiian artist JT Ojerio, part of Aloha de Mele's Postal Prints Collection. Inspired by vintage postage stamps, these 5" × 7" prints are made to be mailed, shared, and enjoyed.

Hilo maile refers to both a type of fragrant maile vine and the specific style lei made from it.  "Hilo" maile is known for being especially vibrant, with glossy, dark green leaves, a richer fragrance, and a fuller look. This vine and lei are a cherished scent and lei given for special occasions.
