Originally hand drawn in pencil, the “Limited Edition 22’s” feature multiple overlays of digital watercolor portraits, florals, and patterns to give an eye catching double exposure feel to each piece.
About the model: Tiati Diaz was born and raised in Hawaii and hails from the west side of Oahu. Her mother, Cheka Diaz of Kahihae Floral, created Tiati’s lei po’o especially for the original photo, that has appeared on Good Morning America. Many of the floral drawings on Aloha de Mele are actually inspired and made by Cheka and styled by Tiati on photoshoots.
